Groupee is an energetic new tech startup based in Sydney with an ambitious growth target for 2017. We are looking for charismatic and motivated sales staff to join our small but stellar team.

Our business development team are passionate and driven to have Groupee as the preferred payment method of choice for Australian diners. They are responsible for contacting both cold and warm restaurant leads with the goal of setting them up to accept Groupee payments.

Whilst closing venues over the phone is preferred, the sales team are of course encouraged to meet with our merchant partners if required in order to win business. We are new to Melbourne so we are attacking the region ambitiously and aggressively ahead of an August regional launch date.

Our sales team are dedicated to hitting targets with excellent attention to detail – will also make sure each new venue is brought on board successfully and smoothly. You should be comfortable with using technology to aid your sales as well aid ensure the successful implementation of Groupee in new businesses once registered.

Marketing & Partnerships Manager, Sydney

Groupee is an early stage startup, looking for someone willing to be hands-on with all of our marketing activities, and the ability to lead a marketing team as our business grows. Our marketing and partnerships lead needs be comfortable building a strategy, as well as a solid understanding of how to make that strategy happen.

You will be tasked with creating awareness and building a user base across for the Groupee brand across all markets via all online and offline marketing channels.

You will work across these channels to communicate our offering to both restaurants and consumers and drive user and transaction numbers north.

You need to innovate and build campaigns as well as crystallise energetic partnerships to ensure Groupee establishes and maintains an aggressive growth trajectory with the goal of cementing itself as Australia’s leading mobile payments channel.

Our ideal candidate can track and report on marketing effectiveness as well as provide insight into user behaviour.

Merchant Partner Manager, Sydney

Groupee is welcoming new restaurants to the payment platform everyday and as a result there is a growing need to ensure the smooth onboarding process of our merchants.

As Groupee is a new business, it is important that new merchant partners have all the tools required in order to service Groupee, that the staff are trained and have awareness of the tool.

As this is a newly created role, you will be responsible for building out the account management process for the business and success for this position will be continued increases in Groupee transactions. Groupee is only in it’s infancy, so it is the role of the Merchant Partner manager to ensure that Groupee is set up for success.
